Former model and fashion influencer Hannah Cooper stepped into the high-pressure world of live TV with a fashion segment on This Morning, only to struggle with an intense migraine that almost threw her off course. Despite the challenge of having a director guide her through an earpiece, it was an even tougher task than viewers comprehended.

Hannah opened up about her ordeal on her podcast Never Have I Ever, which she produces with husband Joel Dommett, who will again host the National Television Awards tonight (Wednesday, September 11).

She admitted the gig was daunting, especially with a pounding headache adding to her stress: "I had to ask how to pronounce the names of all these French designers and stuff. It's embarrassing. I'm supposed to look like I know what I'm doing."

The fashionista went on to describe her restless night spent picking the perfect outfit for her television appearance, understanding the significant impact her ensemble would have on viewers.

She said: "The weight of hosting a fashion segment is heavy on the outfit. The nation is looking at me. I get to tell them what they should wear, and if I'm looking like s***, that's not going to give off the vibe."

Her nerves and the burden of expectation culminated in a harrowing migraine, complete with visual disturbances that almost derailed her entirely: "All of a sudden I got those white stars that come across the corner of your eyes," Hannah disclosed.

Hannah initially suspected that the studio's bright lights were the cause of her headache, expecting it to subside eventually. However, she revealed: "But I was looking at my cards, and I could kind of remember where the clothes were from. But I had to say the prices of everything too. And I just couldn't see the prices because everything had gone white," reports Gloucestershire Live.

In desperation, Hannah had to seek assistance; "I had to go and ask the producer for a paracetamol, a banana and a Coca-Cola like I was having a hangover. It was not the look that I wanted to give. And then I had to ask to turn the lights down."

Despite the chaos, the segment managed to go fairly smoothly. This wasn't the couple's first on-screen collaboration.

Hannah previously co-hosted ITV's Home Alone With Joel Dommett during the coronavirus lockdown and appeared with her husband on Gogglebox.
