This is a lot more diverse, yes. But the staff have no clue how to handle the conflicts that come with having diversity. And instead of addressing the problems, they shove it under a rug to keep up appearances. I know countless people during my time there that had drugs, weapons (homemade or otherwise), alcohol, without consequence. The clubs aren't that good, the academics are average. The food is awful. I can't tell you how many times I've seen students get sick from having spoiled food or finding hair in their food. Your privacy will not be taken seriously, especially with mental health. If a student reaches out to a staff member for help, they either will get rejected or whatever they told the staff will be told to other staff and parents and likely students as well.

I go here currently it's my last year last tri the teachers are great and it is pretty standard for a public school the only thing I dislike is how the arts are treated visual musical etc. but again that's to be expected in a suburban middle school they handled covid-19 well despite being a little too eager to go back in-person I think one of the best things about this school is the number of teachers that seem to genuinely care about what they teach and their students
