ParentVUE is a web/mobile application that can be used to access your student’s academic information, including:
A centralized location for messages from your student’s teachers and school
- A summary of your student’s attendance and days missed
- The ability to schedule parent-teacher conferences
- Report cards and secondary mid-trimester progress reports
- Access to your student’s information including locker number and combination, lunch pin
- Access codes to Schoology for Parents and the FirstView bus tracking app
- A quick link to EduTrakConnect (formerly SmarkSchoolK12) to add money to lunch accounts, make online payments for various store items including fees, and register for athletics
If you have not logged in before, you will need an activation key to create an account. Click HERE to access the login page and select “Request Account Activation.” After identifying yourself and your student, you will receive an email with further instructions to activate and log in.
ParentVUE also features an online form, which can be used to update your address, contact information, emergency contacts, and student information, as well as directly uploading documents for a change in address. Click on Family Verification and Update for further instructions.

What are annual back-to-school forms?
The back-to-school forms process allows parents and caregivers to verify and update their family and student information on an annual basis. It also allows them to complete forms like information release (photo and/or military opt out), family contact information and emergency information updates.
Can I add information for my partner or spouse?
For security reasonsyou may only add information for yourself, a parent/guardianwho lives with you, and a parent/guardian you have added (such as a new spouse). A parent/guardian who does not live with you will need to log in using their own ParentVUE account to update their information.
What information am I able to update via ParentVUE?
Many pieces of important information, including parent/caregiver phone andemail, health information, emergency contacts, home address, and employer information can be updated via the back-to-school forms process on ParentVUE.
I need to update my child's name, gender, birth date, or grade. Can I do that in ParentVUE?
A child's name, gender, birth date, or grade can be updated by calling your child's school.
Please note that you will still need to complete the back-to-school forms process in order to use ParentVUE throughout the year.

We collect family data for a variety of reasons, the three main reasons are:

If I have multiple students, how do I view the information for each one?
If you have more than one student, you can switch which student you are viewing by selecting the drop-down arrow in the top left corner.
Can I access information for my child if they are enrolled in a different district?
Osseo Area Schools only stores information for students enrolled in Osseo Area Schools. If your student is enrolled in another district that uses ParentVUE, you will need to log out of your Osseo Schools account and go to the ParentVUE website that belongs to the other district.
How do I schedule conferences?
When conference time approaches, you will receive a message from your student’s school informing you of the dates that conferences will occur as well as when they will be available for scheduling. Once conference scheduling is open, follow the guides below.

How do I view my student’s report card?
Report cards and secondary mid-trimester progress reports are uploaded to ParentVUE for easy viewing access. To find them, follow this guide HERE.
How do I update my student’s and/or my personal information?
To update your or your student’s personal information such as address, contact information, and emergency contacts, you will need to submit an Online Verification and Family Update form through ParentVUE. A step-by-step guide through the process can be found HERE. Please note that some changes may require documents to be submitted through this form or directly to the Enrollment Center before being accepted.
What do I do if my online registration is not working?
If you are running into issues with the online registration to update your information, refer to the troubleshooting guide HERE. If you are still unable to resolve the issue, contact your student’s school main office or submit a ticket withIT Client Services.
How do I contact my student’s teachers?
In ParentVUE, email for each of your student’s teachers can be found in the Class Schedule tab. The name of the teacher in blue for each class acts as a link to start sending an email.
How do I view and respond to teacher messages?
While Osseo Schools uses multiple forms of communication, teachers can send messages to you directly through ParentVUE. If emails from the district are not blocked, a copy of these messages will be sent to your email. To access and reply to them in ParentVUE, follow the guide HERE.
How do I view my student’s attendance?
Student attendance can be found in the Attendance tab of ParentVUE, which contains detailed information. For a summary of what you can view in this tab, click HERE.
